Come on and move that butt
Don't talk too much
Swing those hips
Stop flapping those lips
Forget about that business
Forget about your friends
Just shake and move that good-good
Cuz sinners always win
Don't care about your clothing
That tube top's looking right
Get up in these jeans baby
You're making them feel tight
Get that booty on the floor
And dance til you can't no more

A new Shabazz Palaces album is a must buy in advance. Whenever have they disappointed? Mysterious, dark yet shiny, this is cyberpunk hip hop, afrofuturism with a swag, grooves for our space colonies. a.g.e. montagner
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
Psychedelic folk-rock, hazy synthesized funk, and smoky French vocals are just a few of the elements in Project Gemini's latest record. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 6, 2024
